Drinking- & Wastewater: We make it clear
Clean Water: a technological standard in drinking water treatment which is very challenging in wastewater treatment.
Micro- and nanoplastics are everywhere, from glaciers to oceans, from the air we breathe to the food we eat. They have even been found in the human body, in our blood and lungs. They are insidious, resilient, ubiquitous particles that are internationally recognised as 'emerging pollutants'. Micro- and nanoplastics have serious consequences for the environment and organisms, acting as vectors for pathogens and pollutants. Protocols for analysing these substances are not yet standardised and legislation is still being developed.
We were one of the first to use ultrafiltration with membrane technology in wastewater treatment in Italy. Innovation is still an essential part of our work in wastewater technologies today. ATZWANGER continuously strives to work with the latest technologies. E.g., South Tyrol: we are partners in all large wastewater treatment plants in South Tyrol. E.g., Lithuania: the largest wastewater treatment plant in the capital Vilnius was completely renovated by us.
Filtering, deacidification and disinfection are the prerequisites for optimal treatment of drinking water. Our employees are happy to provide their entire knowledge in this regard for the planning and the implementation of such concepts. We can reference the realisation of numerous projects in South Tyrol and Trentino.
OUR PROJECTS
Challenge our technical problem-solving abilities.
Our pioneering spirit and our will for further development run through all of our business units. So far, we have realised all major wastewater treatment plants in South Tyrol and were among the first to use ultrafiltration with membrane technology in wastewater treatment.
