New office in Venice/Marghera

ATZWANGER opens competence center for electrical engineering and automation

We continue to grow: Recently, a new office was opened in Venice/Marghera – strategically located on the traffic axis between Bozen-Bolzano and ATZWANGER's premises in Palmanova.

Three specialists in electrical engineering are currently working there. "Until now, we always were to outsource this important activity," explains Christoph Atzwanger, who heads the Energy & Waste business unit. "Insourcing it provides us flexibility and completes our range of products and services.

The long-term goal is to create of a competence center for electrical engineering and automation".

The new competence center is a satellite of the Palmanova office, which was acquired by ATZWANGER 20 years ago and has developed into the company's internal reference point for mechanical and biological waste treatment. A five-person team prepares prepares proposals, designs plants and implements projects on a turnkey basis – far beyond Friuli and also even Italy.

Waste recycling plants have already been completed in Lithuania, Romania and Japan, among others. Several major projects in Basilicata and Sicily are currently under construction converting agricultural waste first into biogas and eventually into biomethane.

After all, we at ATZWANGER get the best out of the waste. And in doing so, we are increasingly relying on in-house know-how.
