ATZWANGER HOSTS THE SUMMIT OF THE PURCHASING MANAGERS GROUP
Our headquarters opened their doors to the Unternehmerverband/Confindustria event dedicated to artificial intelligence

More than 80 purchasing managers attended the meeting organised by Unternehmerverband Südtirol/Confindustria Alto Adige at our headquarters in Bozen/Bolzano in recent days. The event, which started with a visit to the South Tyrolean company BEL Srl in Bozen Süd/Bolzano Sud, then continued at our company. Martin Atzwanger, managing director, and Klaus Tauferer, head of purchasing and logistic department, explained the innovative business to the guests.

Artificial intelligence and the increasing role it will play in the dynamics of business have been discussed for years. Patrick Renner from Unternehmerverband Südtirol/Confindustria Alto Adige and Fabian Neulichedl from the Mila cooperative addressed the topic and, in the second part of the day, illustrated the potential of using artificial intelligence in purchasing.

Specifically, the issue covered was the use of AI to gain a competitive advantage in various areas – starting from the organisation of orders through to the management of complex negotiations – but also as a valuable support for purchasing managers, who can use artificial intelligence to focus their attention on more value-added activities, optimising their time and making their work more efficient. The subject was ultimately discussed and debated at the closing of the meeting.

We at ATZWANGER are delighted to have had the opportunity, supported by Unternehmerverband Südtirol/Confindustria Alto Adige and BEL Srl, to host this significant initiative focused on the ever-growing role of artificial intelligence and the benefits that its use can bring to the production sector in the future.
