  • The controlled subsidiary Ecomaster ATZWANGER GmbH merged with ATZWANGER AG.

  • The group started to develop an increasing focus on the growing economies of Eastern Europe. ATZWANGER d.o.o. established in Zagreb (CRO) and ATZWANGER s.r.o. in Prague (CZ).

  • New office opened in München Riem.

  • Environmental engineering added as an important business unit within the company’s structure.

  • Innsbruck office moved to Salzburg.

  • 1975
  • Energy engineering added to the company’s portfolio. The first offices abroad opened, in Innsbruck and Munich. That put ATZWANGER on the path to international success.

  • Production plant and warehouse opened in Branzoll (near Bozen).

  • 1969

  •  The firm registered as a joint stock company. New business unit created for water technology.

  • An ATZWANGER office opened in Meran.

  • Luis Atzwanger’s sons Peter and Paul Atzwanger brought new perspectives and innovative ideas to the family business. The firm extended its range of activities and geographical radius.

  • 1939
  • The business closed down in the confusion of the Second World War and accompanying pressure on ethnic German South Tyroleans to migrate. In the post-war period, the business was reestablished in Bozen’s Talfergasse and later moved to Sparkassenstrasse.

  • 1932
  • Luis Atzwanger established himself as a plumber in Bozen under the ATZWANGER label. With its high-grade heating and plumbing solutions, the business soon became a household name.
