The new building of the Bozen/Bolzano Hospital has now officially been inaugurated. The new clinic in Bozen/Bolzano is one of the largest and most significant building projects in the region, and one that has helped shape the past quarter century: 25 years ago, the public tender for the planning was announced, 20 years ago, the project planning began, and another five years later, the first foundaition stone was laid. In January 2011 the works for the technological installations (electrical, heating, air conditioning, ventilation, sanitary installations and the lift systems) of the new clinic were handed over to the bidding consortium with ATZWANGER AG/SpA as the leader and Consorzio Integra and Elpo GmbH as customers. Due to delays with other projects, the work could not be completed as planned in 2016 but lasted until 2023. In the midst of the Covid pandemic, the first services were moved in record time: first and foremost, the provincial intensive care unit. Gradually, as the works progressed, others followed. The final amount was around EUR 53 million.

We are pleased to have been involved in this major project. Our contribution will continue to the next construction lot, as we were awarded in April 2023 the contract for the "Media Channel 3. Construction Lot Technology, Supply and Disposal Centre" and will carry out the work as the lead contractor with the partner companies Plattner AG, Ciab Coop. a r.l. and ELPO GmbH within 2026.
